This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by Ungo SAS (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you use Ungo at ungo.app and its subdomains (the “Service”).
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels. We group them all under “cookies” in this policy.
2. Marketing site (ungo.app)
Our marketing site sets no cookies by default. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels. If you accept cookies in a future preference banner, the table below will describe them.
3. Dashboard (dashboard.ungo.app)
The dashboard uses strictly necessary cookies only:

These are essential for the Service to function and do not require consent under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) / ePrivacy Art. 5(3).
4. Published sites (subdomain.ungo.app and custom domains)
Sites published with Ungo set no cookies by default. If you, the site owner, embed third-party scripts (e.g., a YouTube video, a Calendly widget), those third parties may set cookies on your visitors’ browsers. You are responsible for disclosing and obtaining consent for those.
5. Analytics
Our privacy-first analytics are cookieless. We log an anonymized pageview event (truncated IP, user agent, referrer) without persistent identifiers. This is compliant with GDPR without requiring a consent banner.
6. Controlling cookies
You can clear cookies from your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out of the dashboard. For granular control, consult your browser’s help pages.
7. Changes
We update this policy when cookie usage changes. Material changes are announced by email.
